Join us for an immersive three-day training on comprehensive conservation planning at Plenitud Farm in Newbury, VT on June 23-25, 2025. This hands-on workshop will equip conservation professionals with practical skills to develop holistic farm conservation plans that address soil health, water management, and biodiversity.
Co-led by colleagues in grazing, agroforestry, soil health, engineering, and regenerative agriculture, this training responds to the growing need for technical service providers who can bridge the gap between farmers' conservation goals and the complex requirements of state and federal funding programs. Participants will move between field and classroom settings, learning to collect and analyze data, design appropriate conservation practices, and create implementable plans that farmers can use to access funding opportunities.
Most meals will be provided. Please indicate on the signup form whether you require housing to attend this 3-day event.
Funded in part by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets.
Former members of the Working Lands Climate Corps may attend this training for free. Email us to receive a promo code and sign up.
