Megan Gronek

BA in Arts and Humanities with a specialty in Community Engagement, Michigan State University, ‘21
Ms. Megan Gronek joins WRNRCD as our Legal Intern focusing on Community Engagement efforts and planning. Throughout the summer, Megan will be working on reviewing Community Engagement Guidance Plans, as well as assist in drafting proposals to stakeholders regarding recently passed legislation in the Vermont State Legislature. Her work focuses on how to further sustainable engagement with community members and other key stakeholders when creating legislation with this goal in mind.
Megan is currently a student at Vermont Law and Graduate School, pursuing both a Juris Doctorate degree and a Masters of Arts of Restorative Justice. Prior to coming to Vermont, Megan has worked in a variety of roles within the field of Community Engagement. While most recently working as a Medical Case Manager for individuals living with severe traumatic brain injuries, Megan has also spent time working as a Community Outreach Coordinator for urban-farming projects in Lansing, Michigan.
During her free time, Megan enjoys running, hiking, painting, and spending as much time as possible with her family, friends, and two dogs.
We are excited to bring Megan onto the WRNRCD team, and look forward to the meaningful contributions that she will bring to Vermont planning and community engagement efforts.
