Overview

Vermont is incredibly lucky to have a bounty of world-class natural resources. It is important to note that these resources are finite and fragile and have been protected thanks to the hard work put in by dedicated people. This includes conservationists, biologists, environmental groups, and most importantly, land managers and land owners. Landowners decide how their property is managed and have a direct impact on the quality of our environment. The District is committed to helping Vermont's landowners and land managers learn about stewarding their property for future generations. We hope to resume hosting workshops next year. In the meantime the links below provide more information about the stewardship of Vermont's natural resources.
