Our Mission

Our mission is to support youth with the knowledge to mitigate and respond to climate change and its impacts, while building community resilience and strengthening local food systems. Guided by the Just Transition framework, we connect students to local climate solutions through experiential, hands-on learning that includes:

  • Interactive presentations and experiential opportunities to engage with local and global climate solutions.
  • Introduction to Conservation Practices and Regenerative Farming
  • Foundations of a Just Transition: A practical approach to social change, moving from exploitation and extraction to systems that are regenerative and reciprocal.
  • Field trips to regenerative farms
  • Planting trees in agroforestry systems
  • Engaging with soil health practices
  • Civics and Community Engagement
  • Conservation practices
  • Watershed Health & Drought Mitigation
  • Invasives removal
  • Growing food for community
  • Food & Land Sovereignty
  • Leadership trainings
  • Learning from a diverse range of experts in our network, and more!

We meet you and your school where you are at and craft programs that fit with the existing curriculum. Our model presents regenerative food systems as a key element of addressing climate change and socio-economic resilience. Our scholastic and organizational partners train participants in agricultural literacy, community organizing, social justice, and a broad range of hands-on, place-based content. We are dedicated to working with schools and students to ensure this program is accessible to all by helping overcome participation obstacles on a case-by-case basis.

Our Focus

We work with you to design programs that fit within the following conservation and regeneration categories.
